Scott interviews and takes calls from listeners for Beth Maynard Green live Thursday night.

Since her awakening in 1980, Beth Green has been guided by an inner voice and a total devotion to authentic spirituality. Beth has a phenomenal intuitive gift which guides everything she does, from counseling individuals to leading workshops, to writing books and music, to all the choices she makes moment to moment in her life. She has profound spiritual power, and the impact of her work with clients is deep and permanent transformation, which allows them to reach their potential and become a greater blessing to others. Her work is original, innovative and geared to healing, not only the individual, but the collective of which we are a part.

After many years of devotion to social revolution, Beth had a spiritual awakening in 1980 at the age of 35. Now turning her focus to the inner revolution, she in no way lessened her concern for the wellbeing and evolution of others. In fact through all her work as a spiritual teacher, intuitive counselor and consultant, author, composer, workshop leader, speaker and more, Beth has confronted our me-based, destructive and self-destructive patterns and called us to a higher consciousness. And she has done so with understanding and compassion.

Some of Beth’s accomplishments are her original and innovative teachings, focusing on the collective consciousness, as well as healing modalities and programs that support people to achieve greater self-awareness, clarity and peace. Her intuitive counseling and business consulting have helped people transform their lives and organizations by transforming themselves, and her work has amazed people with its insightfulness and effectiveness. To help clients achieve deeper and more permanent change, she has developed an integrative counseling modality that simultaneously includes an energy worker along with herself. Another of her accomplishments is the Living with Reality program, which offered people teachings, tools, techniques and healing through workshops, a book and mutual support calls, which ensure that the healing not only stuck but deepened.

Scott Cluthe interviews Thomas Sterner Tuesday. Sterner is author of the newly released, THE PRACTICING MIND:Developing Focus and Discipline in Your Life

In those times when we want to acquire a new skill or face a formidable challenge we hope to overcome, what we need most are patience, focus, and discipline, traits that seem elusive or difficult to maintain.

Early life is all about trial-and-error practice. If we had given up in the face of failure, repetition, and difficulty, we would never have learned to walk or tie our shoes. So why, as adults, do we often give up on a goal when at first we don’t succeed? Modern life’s technological speed, habitual multitasking, and promises of instant gratification don’t help. But in his study of how we learn (prompted by his pursuit of disciplines such as music and golf), Sterner has found that we have also forgotten the principles of practice — the process of picking a goal and applying steady effort to reach it. The methods Sterner teaches show that practice done properly isn’t drudgery on the way to mastery but a fulfilling process in and of itself, one that builds discipline and clarity.

By focusing on “process, not product,” you’ll learn to live in each moment, where you’ll find calmness and equanimity.

Thomas M. Sterner has studied Eastern and Western philosophy and modern sports psychology and trained as a concert pianist. For more than twenty-five years, he served as the chief concert piano technician for a major performing arts center.  Sterner would perform delicate procedures often hundreds of times per piano with little or no room for costly errors. Being disciplined and focused were his key to survival, and became his joy.

Scott Cluthe has 2 terrific guests live Tuesday night.  Arielle Ford and her latest book, Wabi Sabi Love, and Lee Gerdes, author of Limitless YOU!

Arielle is a gifted writer and the author of eight books including the international bestseller, THE SOULMATE SECRET: Manifest The Love of Your Life With The Law of Attraction.

Then Scott talks with Limitless You author Lee Gerdes, as they discuss The Infinite Possibilities of a Balanced Brain

With the revolutionary brain conditioning technology, we can liberate ourselves from our limitations. This advanced technology allows the brain to see itself–to recognize where it’s out of balance and not functioning well. Once our amazing brain discovers how it has learned to limit itself, it knows just how to readjust itself.

About Wabi Sabi Love: After joyous beginnings, many couples find their dreams of perfect love replaced by frustration, criticism, defensiveness and emotional distance. Yet the key to enduring love lies not in chasing an ideal, says bestselling author and love expert Arielle Ford. Lasting love requires we embrace the very flaws, quirks and differences that make us unique, as she shows in her new book Wabi Sabi Love: The Ancient Art of Finding Perfect Love in Imperfect Relationships.

Wabi Sabi is the ancient Japanese aesthetic of finding beauty and perfection in imperfection. When applied to love, it means changing how we view our partners.

“Wabi Sabi Love is the practice of accepting the flaws, imperfections, and limitations – as well as the gifts and the blessings – that form your shared history as a couple,” Arielle says. “This is sacred love, not infatuation, or love that is convenient.”
